Here’s the steps on how to Reinstall your Magento.

Ø  Go to your PhpMyAdmin

Ø  Select Magento Database

Ø  Drop all the Tables

Ø  Go to the Directory where your magento installed.

Ø  Go to app/etc/ directory

Ø  Delete local.xml file

That’s it!!!

If you rename the directory where you install magento like from “Store” to “Shop”.

Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/

Then you need to change the base URL.

First Go to your PhpMyAdmin page.

Select “core_config_data” table of your database.

Replace the data stored in “web/unsecure/base_url” and “web/secure/base_url” with http://www.yourdomain.com/Shop/

After that,
Delete everything inside the “var/cache/directory”.

That’s it.!!!
